In addition, DB2 PE can also help you analyze performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations for system and application performance.

With performance Expert, you can manage various types of hybrid DB2 systems through a single user interface. It integrates performance monitoring, reporting, buffer pool analysis, and performance Warehouse functions. It provides a federated, consistent view of the system to monitor multiple DB2 instances on different operating systems. DB2 Performance Expert supports DB running on Windows®, aix®, HP-UX, z/os®, Linux, Linux on zseries®, and Sun Solaris operating environment 2 server.
