Disable sendmail with system startup
How To Disable sendmail with system startup

Previously, when deploying the wasnd environment in centos, it took several minutes to start sendmail. However, sendmail was not used at all, so I disabled it with system startup.

  1. Disable sendmail
    Service sendmail stop
  2. Disable sendmail with system startup
    Chkconfig sendmail off
  3. Check if sendmail auto-start is disabled
    Chkconfig -- list sendmail
    If all values are off, the system is disabled.
    Sendmail 0: off 1: off 2: off 3: off 4: off 5: off 6: off
    If there is no off, you can try to close it separately, as shown in figure
    Chkconfig -- level 2 sendmail off-Disable the command 2 separately.
