Getcwd and chdir change directory functions in php

Echo getcwd (). "n"; // get the current working directory
Echo "<br> ";
Chdir ('08'); // change the working directory
Echo getcwd (). "n"; // Obtain the current working directory again

The getcwd () function returns the current directory.

If yes, the current working directory is returned; otherwise, false is returned.

The chdir () function changes the current directory to the specified directory.
