After purchasing a Godaddy host, you will not automatically set up your host account as other host providers do (if you have not purchased a host, please refer to the Godaddy host purchase graphic tutorial here to purchase it ), you have purchased a host quota and need to log on to your account to set up the quota. The following describes how to set up a host account after purchase.

After the purchase, log on to your Godaddy account and enter the account name and password at the specified location. The account name and password are entered for registration.

After entering the information, click the button below to log on to your account. You need to set a pin for the first login, which is a four-digit number. You can confirm your identity when you need Godaddy's customer service in the future for telephone service or other channels, remember.

After entering the information, click Save to log on to your account. The page will automatically jump to the home page, but it shows that you have logged on. Click my account to go to account management.

To set up a host account, click hosting account list to go to the Host account list.

All your host accounts are listed here. If you have already set up a host, you can open it and manage it later. If you have not set up a host account, click set up.
Click set up to set up the host. The page shown is displayed.

Enter the domain name, host account name, and password on the page that appears below. The host account name and password are different from your Godaddy account. They are set up separately and the same as the FTP account password.
The account name must contain at least five letters and the password must contain at least one uppercase letter. Otherwise, an error is returned.

After entering the information, click "continue" to enter the confirmation page. This page displays the information you just filled in. confirm the information and click "Submit" to create an account.

Then the page showing the successful settings is displayed, and the host is set up.

Go back to the host account list and you can see that the host status you just set up is pending setup. It indicates that the host is being set up and can be used after it is complete.
