1. Yum install gcc openssl-devel gcc-c ++ compat-gcc-34 ++

Switch/usr/srcDirectory:

1. Cd/usr/src

Download nodejs. The latest version is 0.10.31:

1. Wget http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.10.31/node-v0.10.31.tar.gz

Decompress and switch the directory:

1. Tar zxf node-v0.10.31.tar.gz
2. Cd node-v0.10.31

Execute the configure script:

1. ./Configure

Then execute the compilation:

1. Make
2. Make install
