Install node. js on RedHat

Error:

 

Checking for OpenSSL: not found
Checking for function ssl_library_init: not found

Checking for header OpenSSL/crypto. h: not found

 

Solution:

1, http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php? Query = OpenSSL-devel

Search "openssh-devel"

Search "OpenSSH"

Download the SDK. The version must be the same. Use rpm-I *. rpm for installation.

2. Go to the directory where node. JS is located.

3,./configure

All compliant

4. Make

5. sudo make install

6. Run node again to solve the problem.

 

Note:

1, on the RedHat v6.2 x86-64, yum install openssl_devel doesn't work

2. Because encryption is required, configure-without-SSL to disable this message is not allowed.
