Zlib missing, did you installed zlib and zlib-developer packages

The libraries in Zlib packages are often used by some software compression or decompression functions. Therefore, if Zlib is required for software compilation, it indicates that the software contains compression or decompression functions, we need to install the zlib package.

I tried sudo apt-get install zlib. It seems that the Ubuntu official source does not contain the zlib package. You can download it from the official zlib website.

You can also download the source code from the Linux community to install the zlib package.

Currently the newest javaszlibis zlib-1.2.3.tar, download see http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2012-06/61982p2.htm download after the installation starts;

$ Tar-xvzf zlib-1.2.3.tar.gz
$ Zlib-1.2.3.tar.gz cd
$./Configure
$ Make
$ Sudo make install

This completes the installation of zlib1.2.3. Because zlib1.2.3 needs to be compiled, the most basic compiler should be installed.
