Linux clear screen command (clear, reset)

In the DOS operation interface of windows, the command for Screen Cleaning is cls. What is the command for Screen Cleaning in linux? The following describes how to clear screen commands in linux.

(1) clear

This command will refresh the screen. In essence, it only enables the terminal to display a page backward. If you scroll up the screen, you can see the previous operation information. This command is generally used.

(2) reset

This command will completely refresh the terminal screen, and the input operation information of the terminal will be cleared. This is refreshing, but the entire command process is slow and rarely used.

(3) an alias for using the clear screen command is introduced as follows:

[Root @ localhost ~] $ Alias cls = 'clear'
[Root @ localhost ~] $ Cls

After executing the preceding command, you can directly enter the cls command to implement the same clear screen command as clear.
