Installation requirements:
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP
• Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher
• Minimum physical memory of 256 MB
• Minimum> 512 MB virtual memory
• Minimum> 5.12 GB hard disk space

After installation: ≈ 5.4g

I. Preparation　
A) we recommend that you back up the operating system, such as ghost. After the installation fails, you can quickly restore the operating system and reinstall it;
B) The target partition format for installation must be NTFS;
C). Connect to the LAN. It is best to install the Microsoft loopback adapter and set it for a single host (add hardware> Add new hardware device> network adapter ).
Set IP address and DNS;
D), daemon tools is used to load image files in Bin format. It is best to set the virtual optical drive to Z;
E), in this file C:/winnt/system32/Drivers/etc/services (Windows 2000) or
C:/Windows/system/32/Drivers/etc/services (Windows XP) must not contain a line with port 3600 (service );
F) Special requirements on Windows XP
In the C:/Windows/system/32/Drivers/etc/hosts file, this line is generally included
127.0.0.1 localhost
This line must be configured and added.
Open the network connectivity definition with start-> Control Panel-> network connections for defining the network connection.
Select-> extended-> allow other users in network. Activate new deployments.
Select Remote Desktop within extended configuration menu.
G). SQL server has been installed before. Before installing minisap, you must uninstall it and delete the installation directory.

Note: For items E, F, and G, refer to Liao Wei's notes for installing mini sap. I have installed these three items normally before, but no system has been found due to limited level.
What is the impact. It should be because of different versions!
 
 
Ii. Installation
You need to change the image file during installation, but there is no obvious prompt on the installation interface. follow these steps:
A), daemon loads CD1, execute X:/setup. BAT to start installation;
B) when the progress is 25%, the system prompts you to insert the source file, which is still CD1;
C) when the progress is 27%, the system prompts you to insert the source file, which is still CD1;
D) when the progress is 41%, the system prompts you to insert the source file and change it to Cd2;
E), when the progress is 44%, the system prompts you to insert the source file and change it to CD3;
F) when the progress is 47%, the system prompts you to insert the source file and change it to cd1;
G), X:/resume_setup.bat, which needs to be reinstalled to activate licence (if licence cannot be started, consider this step );
Five warnings appear after I install them. If there is no error, OK.
H), install the GUI, and run X:/MiniGUI/setup.exe;
 
After the installation is complete, the start sap ABAP engine and saplogon shortcuts appear on the desktop.
 
 
3. log on　　　
A), "saplogon", the logon window (SAP logon 620) appears, click [New (n )...] Button
Make the following configuration in the "add" window:

Application Server: <machinename> (assume this is your computer name)
SAP route string: No
SAP system: Select R/3
System No.: 00
Click OK to return to the logon window (SAP logon 620)
In the logon window (SAP logon 620), select "enter any" and log on

Bcuser is a common user, and ddic is used by the Administrator.
 
B). On the toolbar of the logon window, click the last 3rd buttons (generates a shoutcut on the desktop)

After the configuration is complete, click OK, And the icon ", Min sap easy access. sap" appears on the desktop"
 
Run "Start sap ABAP engine" and then ", Min sap easy access. sap"
 

4. ABAP/4 Programming
A) when creating a program, the program starts with Z, Y, sapmy, and sapmz and complies with the following rules. Otherwise, the system prompts that the program cannot be created;
Follow the following rules when creating a program name:
• Use at least 1 character but no more than 8 characters (8 characters are 4.6c standard and can actually exceed 8 characters)
• Do not use the following characters
• Period (.)
• Comma (,)
• Space ()
• Brackets '('')'
• Single quotes (')
• Double quotation marks (")
• Equal sign (=)
• Asterisks (*)
• Vowels (_, _) and '_'
• Percent sign (%) and underscore (_): these symbols are wildcards of SQL statements, which may also cause problems. SAP recommends that you do not use them in program names.

Follow these naming conventions when creating program names:
• Report Program (output data analysis in List format): yaxxxxxx or zaxxxxxx. Replace a with the classification Letter of the application area. Replace X with any valid characters. Note sap reports
The program complies with a similar naming convention: raxxxxxx.
• Any other ABAP/4 programs (training programs or transaction programs): sapmyxxx or sapmzxxx. Replace X with valid characters. Note that the standard sapabap/4 program complies with a similar life cycle
Name Conventions: sapmaxxx, where a represents an application zone.
B) when creating the exercise program, it is best to select $ TMP (Development class) for the package;
C) The menu environment → examples → ABAP examples contains ABAP instances, which are good for learning and researching;
D) about 1.32 MB is recommended for learning ABAP/4 programming.
　

V. Background
I feel that the programming interface of the 620gui is relatively old, and it is almost catching up with notepad. Compared with today's popular programming tools, there are many limitations in programming. I have seen the 740gui, but unfortunately I have not found the download source. Can I provide this version?
