MySQL console update data garbled Solution

Solve the problem by updating data garbled characters in the MySQL Console: Enter the following statement in the MySQL console:

Insert into table_name VALUES ('Chinese ');

 

The data stored in the database is garbled. Solution: add character set parameters connected to the mysql client. (Assume that the database encoding is UTF-8.) 1. Add character set parameters after starting the command on the console.

1 $ mysql -- default-character-set = utf8

 

Note that the character set here is utf8 instead of UTF-8. 2. Add the character set parameter in mysql configuration file my. cnf and add the following configuration in the/etc/my. cnf file:
