To modify the root user's password:

If you forget the root user's password, you won't be able to log in to MySQL, and you won't be able to change the password. Log in to MySQL at this time is more troublesome:

• Open a window, execute: mysqld--skip-grant-tables;
• Then open a window to log mysql:mysql-u root;
