MySQL Set character UTF-8

Windows edition MySQL sets the character set to UTF8 all the way

 

my.ini file in MySQL installation directory

 

[Client] node

Default-character-set=utf8 (Increase)

[MySQL] node

Default-character-set=utf8 (modified)

 

[mysqld] Node

Default-character-set=utf8 (modified)

Character_set_server=utf8 (Increase)

after the modification is complete, use

net stop MySQL

net start MySQL

restarting the MySQL service

log back in to MySQL by

Show variables like '%character% ';

command to view the current database character set configuration
