One, Oracle 11g installation
Before installing to determine your own computer configuration, Windows as an example, if it is Win7 the following systems such as XP, you can select Oracle 10g. Because the program file of 10g only more than 200 trillion, and 11g and reached 2G, the specific file official download path has not been found, can only go to some software download platform download. If it is Win7 best to use 11g, otherwise it is likely that 10g incompatible installation is unsuccessful, this article takes Win7 as an example.
Oracle 11g is officially as follows:

After the download is complete, extract two files separately, Note! Be sure to merge the extracted two folders into one ! Otherwise, there will be a missing file prompt at the time of installation! Smaller files can be cut into larger files, prompt whether to overwrite, select Yes, because only the folder name is the same, content and different.
Open the folder, double-click setup.exe to start the installation, generally only need to press the default option to install, the program will automatically select a larger disk to install. If you want to specify the installation directory yourself, you need to set up the Oracle base directory in the fourth step of " Typical installation ", and the other directory locations will be configured automatically based on that location.
Also note that after the seventh step "Install Product" is complete, there is a password management option, it is recommended to unlock the Scott account and set the password. The Scott account is provided by Oracle for learners, with a number of practice sheets, and many of the Oracle Starter books use the account form below to unlock the account by simply removing the checkmark from the lock user bar.
If you do not unlock Scott account In this step, you can also use the Oracle's own Sql*plus tool to unlock it after installation is complete. Click on the Start menu to find the Oracle program in all programs, which has an application development folder and the Sql*plus tool is in that folder. Click the Open tool, enter system input in the user name to confirm, and then need to enter the password, that is, the password set when you install Oracle. Note! The Enter Password screen does not display any characters , just enter it correctly and click Enter to sign in. If this is not convenient, you can also enter the password directly in the user name, only need to add "/" after the system and then enter the password, such as system/abc123456.
After login, enter "ALTER user Scott account unlock;" command to unlock the Scott account and to set a password for the Scott account after unlocking, you can enter "alter user Scott identified by Tiger;" command to change Scott's password to Tiger, then you can log in by Scott/tiger!

Second, Oracle 11g Uninstall
Uninstalling an Oracle reload is required if the installation fails without extracting the files or extracting them from the same directory. Oracle itself does not have an uninstall option, and deleting a folder directly prompts you to be in use and cannot be removed, and we can uninstall it either by deleting the registry or using an uninstall file that comes with Oracle 11g.
method One: Using Oracle 11g uninstall files with your own uninstall
Use Win+r to open the DOS Runtime window (or enter Cmd.exe in the search to open the conversation window) and run the Deinstall.bat file in the Oracle installation directory, such as:
D:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\deintall\deinstall.bat
where D: For the Oracle installation disk, App\administrator is the default state of the installation directory of Oracle, if the customization of the installation directory will need to change here to the real path, The following is the detailed path to the Deinstall.bat file, and then step by step and press ENTER to uninstall.
Method Two: Remove the registry Uninstall
1. Turn off all Oracle services, right-click on "My Computer--manage services and applications-services" and locate the Oracle service item in the list of services on the right, and select it to stop the service on the left side;
2. In DOS run Regedit open the registry and open the path:
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\
Delete the file under it with Oracle, and then locate the following path under the same path:
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\eventlog\application
Delete the project with Oracle and open the path:
Hkey_local_machine\software\
Locate the Oracle directory, and then delete the directory;
3. Right-click My Computer--Properties--advanced--environment variable-->path variable to delete the content that contains Oracle in this value.
Note: A directory of operating systems is recorded in path, separated by semicolons (;) between directories in Windows, and noted when deleted.
Recommendation: When deleting the value of Oracle in the PATH environment variable, copy the value to a text editor, find the corresponding Oracle value, delete it, then copy the modified string and paste it into the PATH environment variable, which is relatively safe.
4, restart the computer, delete the installation files, the remaining files in the C drive, the left file in the Start menu, complete the uninstallation.
