SCP command needs to specify port immediately after SCP

Problem Source: I am local ubuntu operating system, sometimes need to update some files to the server. However, for the sake of security we have modified the server's sshd port, usually not using the default port number 22nd.

If we use the SCP command: SCP upload_file [email protected] will encounter

Ssh:connect to host My_Server Port 22:connection refused

Note: To use the-p (uppercase P) when you need to specify a port, and immediately after the SCP: scp-p 12349 upload_file [email protected] (correct)

-P If the remote host is placed after the error: SCP upload_file [email protected]-P 12349 (Error)

12349:no such file or directory

When using, please replace 12349 with the corresponding port of your own server!
