I wrote an email using Thunderbird (version 3.1.6). After sending the email, I found that the format of the email body was out of order in "sent". For example, I didn't have any spaces and the layout was messy. The message layout displayed by the recipient is also messy.
The solution is as follows:
- "Tools"-> "account settings". In the "Address Book" of each account, select "write messages in HTML format ".
- "Tools"-> "options"-> "write"-> "General", "configure text format behavior", "Send options ", select "Send in plain text and HTML ".
- Tools-> options-> advanced-> Configuration Editor, search mailnews. send_default_charset in the filter box and set it to UTF-8 (without double quotation marks ).
Use the default mail font. No problem after trial. You can also set the mail font to another font as needed, such as the Courier New font.
