DATEDIFF, (calculated by 2016-11-16 only, no extra hours minutes, calculated by day)
 
   
  
  1. select DATEDIFF(NOW(),‘2016-11-16 17:10:52‘);

In SQL Server, DateDiff is more powerful than MySQL, but I'm not useless.
