Visual Studio 2015 connecting to MySQL related issues

VS, using Server Explorer to connect to MySQL did not succeed. In accordance with the solution provided online, the relevant plugin has been installed:

1, the Control Panel, MySQL Connector Net 6.9.9 has been installed (the original installation version is 6.9.8, after the upgrade is installed as 6.9.9) and MySQL for Visual Studio 1.2.6 Edition.

Once the above steps are complete, after you restart Visual Studio (and your computer), you will still not be able to select a data source connected to MySQL in VS:

You do not have to use Server Explorer to write the connection string yourself in the configuration file.
