In VMwareWorkStation, Vm settings are used to access the Internet-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. VMware WorkStation 6.0 English version.
1. Host Machine Windows XP SP2, telecom E8 broadband dial-up Internet access. After installing VMware WorkStation, there are two more connections in the control panel-Network connection: VMware Network Adapter VMnet1 and VMware Network Adapter VMnet8. The former is disabled, and the latter is directly set to DHCP assignment. (PS: the latter seems to be able to be disabled and has not been tested ).
2. Install Suse Linux 10.1 in VMware WorkStation and SET network connection to NAT in VM Setting.
3. Start Suse Linux in VMware WorkStation, perform the system, and set the network to DHCP in Yast.
4. In this way, you can access the Internet. There should be many methods, but I have personally practiced the above method, which is feasible. The rest will not be said. Note: It seems that you need to enable the Windows management tool-VMware DHCP Service and VMware NAT Service in the Service.
I am not very familiar with Linux. It is a good dish. Please forgive me for anything wrong.
