The most common system environment for us to use VPS for installation is LNMP. I have been learning to install and use VPS recently. I also see many system environments available, of course, you can choose to manage the installation panel. For the moment, I do not select to install the Panel. First, the Panel has no technical content. Second, I learned from the difficulties. Using SSH directly to operate VPS still feels very face-to-face. From multiple systems, I am not good or bad for the time being. Each of them is installed and tested, and relevant information is recorded and compared in the future.
Today, we will first install the LNMP System in CentOS. The minimum system requirement is MB of memory. I believe that the minimum VPS should also have MB of memory. The tested machine is MB of memory, HE data center line machine.
First, log on to our VPS Using SSH.
Step 2: remotely download the LNMP one-key installation package;
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: wget-c http://soft.vpser.net/lnmp/lnmp0.9.tar.gz
The latest official version 0.9 above.
Step 3. decompress the downloaded package;
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: tar zxvf lnmp0.9.tar.gz
Step 4: After decompression, go to the lnmp0.9 file directory;
Copy codeThe Code is as follows: cd lnmp0.9
Step 5: because our system is CentOS, We will install./centos. sh here.
We are required to enter the primary domain name. We recommend that you do not use our own domain name. You can enter a domain name or other testing domain names that are not very useful. Because the root directory is generally not used for Site Building. I am here for demonstration, So enter my domain name.
Step 6: enter our ROOT permission MYSQL password, which must be set and remembered, and it is better to be more complex. The following shows whether we need to install the InnoDB database engine, which is generally not installed, press enter to install Y.
Finally, we are prompted to press any key to start the installation of LNMP. The installation time for different VPS performance is long.
With the above seven steps, we can easily install the CentOS-based LNMP environment in our Linux VPS. Today's installation tutorials are shared here. Although there are similar tutorials on the Internet, they are not installed by themselves and must be proved by practice.
The installation is still ongoing. I will continue to wait for the installation to complete. I will share my post on how to add a domain name for website and database management. The article will end first here.
