Today, we found that the No. 4 (tomorrow) of the autumn garden will expire, and VPS vendors will also need to recycle old machines, so we must transfer the VPs to another one.
So from two o'clock P.M. to, two hours are all done, because I feel that some steps are the same for each transfer. I hereby record the process.

The general process of website transfer is as follows:

 

I. Basic machine settings:

1: VPs reinstalls the system at a speed of 2003, which is about 10 minutes:

 

 

2: Create a New partition on the hard disk. The 40 Gb partition is D and E:

 

3: Rename the administrator user name and password:

 

4: The fault report is canceled, and Windows Update is disabled. The default patch is already quite new, and win2003 has been around for 10 years. It is estimated that there is no need to fill in:

 

5: transfer the virtual memory from C to other disks (E) (restart is required, and the last restart is required ).

This saves the image.

 

6: Modify the remote port 3389 (restart is required, and the last restart is left ):

Ii. DataProgramAnd file packaging and transfer:

Considering that both VPs servers are in the United States, the best way is to remotely connect from one VPs to the other (and take the drive with it)
Through the copy and paste function of the drive area, we found that the speed is good, and the speed is close to M.

 

The data transfer process includes:

1: transfer of tools and installation programs

2: transfer of website programs and data

3: the backup of the website application pool and the transfer of the website backup (this is a sad reminder, one application pool backs up one, one website backs up one, but there are not many, a total of 8)

1. Install the remote control tool (Radmin) and set the port password and authorization code.

2: Install MSSQL.

 

Iv. Website Restoration 

1: Restore the program and data of the website. Note that the everyone permission may be set for some directories.

PS: the account name is changed. (IIS cannot be restarted before the computer is restarted. An incorrect account name ing error is reported)

2: After restoring the database, pay attention to restoring the database account (new.

3: Modify the SA account password and disable remote TCP (access through port 1433 ).

4: Pay attention to settings caused by IP changes (including possible web. config and IP binding headers in IIS)

 

V. Website IP Address Resolution Transfer

1: bind the IP address or other domain names to test whether the site access is normal.

2: Resolve the DNS of the domain name to the new IP address.
