I will not introduce the software downloading or anything. Please prepare your own software.
Installation start: 1. Use the installation disc to boot the installation
Because of the different motherboard manufacturers, we cannot determine that your configuration method is the same as ours. Therefore, please refer to the "BIOS configuration settings" section in the motherboard manual.
You can choose the installation language and select the appropriate time and currency Display type, keyboard, and input mode.
Here, I didn't catch the figure. Hey, sorry ..
Click "Install Now "..
Why? Are you sure you want to enter the product key ?? Hey hey .. 8 tell you!
Because you didn't need to enter the WINDOWS 2008 product key.
Select the version 2008 you want to install. What should I install? The first one is complete.
About half an hour later, the installation is OK. Enter the password of the Super administrator in Windows. Note that the password must be more than eight digits, and contain letters and numbers or decimal points, it cannot be 12345678. Otherwise, it cannot be used/
Now that Windows is installed, let's take a look at the initialization settings.
We started to talk about system initialization settings.
1. Driver installation
2. IP settings (IPV6 format, etc)
3. System updates
4. Other problems
1. Driver installation:
Now WINDOWS Vista has been around for so long, and many motherboards on the market also have VISTA drivers.
WINDOWS 2008 and 2003 are the same.
2003 share driver with XP
2008 share the driver with VISTA.
Put the disc on your motherboard and install the VISTA driver on your motherboard, such as the NIC, video card, and sound card.
This is not detailed here. If you do not understand it, you can contact me QQ: 751911
2. IP settings
When drivers are installed and Internet access is required, IP addresses must be set. After WINDOWS 2008 is installed, IPv4 and IPv6 are installed by default ..
IPv4: I believe everyone knows what it is like? Such as 192.168.1.100.
IPv4 addresses are composed of 32-bit binary codes. The format is xxx. xxx, where x represents a three-digit binary number.
As shown in the following figure:
The size of the IPv6 address is 128 bits. The preferred IPv6 address is: xxxx. Each x represents a 4-digit hexadecimal number. The IPv6 address range is from 0000: 0000: 0000: 0000: 0000: 0000: 0000 to ffff: ffff.
IPv4 addresses are composed of 32-bit binary codes. The format is xxx. xxx, where x represents a three-digit binary number.
In addition to the preferred format, the IPv6 address can be specified in two other short formats:
Omitted leading zero
The IPv6 address is specified by omitting the leading zero. For example, IPv6 address 1050: 0000: 0000: 0000: 0005: 0600: 300c: 326b can be written as 1050: 0: 0: 0: 5: 600: 300c: 326b.
Double colon
Use the double colon (: :) instead of a series of zeros to specify IPv6 addresses. For example, the IPv6 address ff06: 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: c3 can be written as ff06: c3. Only one double colon can be used in an IP address.
An optional format of an IPv6 address combines a colon with a dot notation. Therefore, an IPv4 address can be embedded into an IPv6 address. Specify the hexadecimal value for 96 digits on the leftmost side and the decimal value for 32 digits on the rightmost side to indicate the embedded IPv4 address. When working in a hybrid network environment, this format ensures compatibility between IPv6 nodes and IPv4 nodes.
The two types of IPv6 addresses use this optional format:
IPv6 address mapped through IPv4
This type of address is used to represent an IPv4 node as an IPv6 address. It allows IPv6 applications to communicate directly with IPv4 applications. For example, 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: ffff: 192.1.56.10 and: ffff: 192.1.56.10/96 (short format ).
IPv4-compatible IPv6 addresses
This type of address is used for tunneling. It allows IPv6 nodes to communicate with each other through the IPv4 infrastructure. For example, 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: 0: 192.1.56.10 and: 192.1.56.10/96 (short format ).
All these formats are valid IPv6 address formats. Specify any of these IPv6 address formats in the iSeries navigator.
As shown in the following figure:
I do not support IPv6 locally. Otherwise, I tried it ..
3. System updates.
The first thing after computers can access the internet is to patch the system first.
You can download patches for windows 2003 and windows 2008 from my BLOG,
Patch Set for windows 2008: you can download it from Microsoft or update it directly on the server.
This is also a month. With updates from Microsoft, new update packages will be integrated.
Or use windows update from Microsoft.
