Windows Oracle ODBC installation and configuration
Environment: Windows 7, 32-bit OS
1. Download the driver package
The official Oracle website can be downloaded.
Base package: instantclient-basic-win32-10.2.0.4.zip
Odbc package: instantclient-odbc-win32-10.2.0.4.zip
The versions of the two packages must be consistent.
2. Unzip and install
Extract the preceding two packages and put the extracted files in the same directory (merged). Note that all the files extracted from the two packages must be placed in one directory, for example, D: \ instantclient_10_2.
For example, if you first extract the base package to the root directory of drive D, the folder D: \ instantclient_10_2 will be displayed. Then, extract the odbc package to a place and copy it all to the folder.
Use the administrator privilege to open the directory, enter the directory, and run odbc_install.exe for installation.
After the installation is successful, run the 32-bit ODBC driver configuration program "C: \ windows \ System32 \ odbcad32.exe ". (Alternatively, choose Control Panel> Administrative Tools> data source (ODBC ))
If the ODBC driver is successfully installed, open the ODBC data source Manager and you will be able to see the ODBC driver items:
