Install and uninstall WordPress themes:

Theme Installation:

If your WordPress has been installed and you have no clue about the theme installation, you can install and use the theme as follows.

Step 1: link to the space through FTP (recommended by Wopus: Filezilla.

Step 2: Find a directory structure: public_html --- wp-content --- themes.

Step 3: upload the local WordPress topic fileThemes
Directory. (Note:The WordPress topic directory format is: Topic Name

Step 4: log on to the WordPress blog background and findThemes
All topics in the directory are displayed here, including preview, enable, and delete. Find the topic you want to upload and enable it directly.

Note:After completing the above steps, the theme has been installed. There are also a few tips to note that some theme is used with the plug-in, so before downloading the theme, make sure you have a clear description. if you have a plug-in, you need to upload the plug-in to the plug-in directory and install the plug-in.

Some themes have a background management system. after the theme is enabled, check whether theme management options are available. If yes, you can complete basic theme settings.

For novice users, it is recommended that you do not directly modify the topic online in the WordPress management background. if there is no backup, you can only restart the topic after an error occurs. we recommend that you use FTP to download the file to be modified to the local device, after the backup, use the professional PHP Editor (recommended for beginners of WordPress.

Currently, WordPress officially supports online selection, download, and installation of themes. you can directly select and use themes from the official WordPress topic directory.

Procedure:

Step 1: log on to the WordPress blog background, find the topic, and click. (At the beginning of WordPress 3.0, the topic is separated and divided

Step 2: find the new topic in the topic module.
After clicking, you can see the recommendation topic and detailed filtering conditions on the right side. you can directly select your preferred one and then download and install it.

Step 3: Perform the preceding steps.

Note: in the add a new topic interface, an option is Upload.
This function uploads a local topic. Therefore, there are not only one method for uploading a topic, but not the other two.
