Foodily launches Facebook app for recipe sharing

FoodilyThe facebook app helps food lovers to selectively tag them from tens of thousands of recipe blogs without leaving the facebook platform.

A visual recipe search and Social subscription helps people discover, share, and comment on food. Gourmets can invite new friends or follow the most popular topics to keep up with the latest food trends.

Its CEO Andrea Cutright said that he had obtained most recipes from his friends and family. "food is the most social thing we do, and we cover the entire process of finding food ."

In other words, from water to nuts, food is a social experience. Foodily's Facebook app provides more comprehensive and friend-introduced recipes than you can find on Google. The Foodily application shows how many friends have commented on a food website and who added the recipe to themselves.

"Foodily means everyone has come to participate in the creation of exquisite recipes," Cutright said. "The beta version of this facebook application has listened to user opinions for five months ."

This application also separates Foodily from other food websites such as Epicurious. Unlike Epicurious, Foodily focuses more on a social experience than just a food discoverer. Of course, there is also a similar website FoodCandy, but Foodily is superior in UI and design. GroupRecipes is another food site, but they are more focused on where food is most popular today, rather than what food is most focused on.
