B2C products suitable for foreign trade have relatively high requirements. The following are some considerations for choosing an industry or product:

1) The product is generally finished, mainly for individual consumers. Considering the accumulated customer resources, fast-moving consumer goods are superior to durable consumer goods. The replacement or reuse cycle of general commodities is within one year.

2) the product price cannot be too low. You can check the retail price of similar products outside China. The retail price of the best products is between 50 and 500 USD. There are two considerations: first, the price of goods is too low, it is difficult to have a profit margin to bear a high international freight; second, the price of goods is too high, and consumers will have concerns, it is not easy to make a purchase decision.

3) in terms of volume and weight, generally the volume should not be too large, and the weight should not be too heavy, so as to facilitate single express delivery. In addition, the freight is relatively low.

4) the price difference between the cost and the foreign retail price is high. Generally, the gross profit exceeds 30%, so that the profit space can bear various costs, mainly promotion costs and logistics costs.

The author believes that foreign trade B2C products are far from being explored, and many products will emerge. These products will be the kind of combination with traditional industries and be creative, there are additional value or personalized custom products, and these products will also be highly profitable. To determine whether the product is suitable for Foreign Trade B2C sales, you can use a simple market survey to preliminarily determine whether the product is suitable. First, you can search on EBAY to see if anyone sells, the price and the sales volume. Second, we can measure the profit margins we can obtain during our operations. What are the components of these profits, such as obtaining middlemen profits and the difference between foreign labor costs and domestic labor costs.
