I joined the system team and did how to combine various deep learning algorithm modules into a high-throughput, low-latency, high-performance distributed system, so what our team did was to design and build this AI system. At that time, the direction of the internship is also computer vision system in the direction of some internships, because the research period of the year to do computer vision bias algorithm level of work, is responsible for our school ticket recognition system core identification algorithm research and system construction, although the system is OK in function, But from the system level consideration, but lacks the macroscopic thought and the design, generally speaking this system Imperial College angry, in the stability, the expansibility and the performance aspect are very poor. So I was looking for an internship in the direction of the AI system, I hope to the big companies to see what they want to design an industrial-grade AI system will take what ideas and technology. It was fortunate to find such an internship at last and to be very macth with my direction.

At Intel when the intern is still very happy, the company to the interns still pay more attention to, at least give us this group of interns relatively large operating space, such as the source of all open to interns, our system group can also look at the code implementation of the algorithm group, in addition to interns will generally be arranged to do some exploratory work, My task in the project team is primarily a new task scheduling framework (Super-service) implementation, new NFL pinelining Exploration, and ways to make the entire system real-time. For 4 months, 60+ commit and 6000+ lines of code, proving that my internship experience is not too much of a stroke, and now I want to be able to see the product of our project group on TV One day, this way I write code that really gives value.

Intel's work is relatively loose, do not need to punch in, every day to do their job well on the line, because everyone is very conscious, so there is no overtime atmosphere. Life in Beijing

In Beijing for 4 months, in addition to internship in the company, the rest is the time is life. I am very happy to meet a group of good, fun friends in the place, so I did not feel lonely in Beijing for 4 months. After coming to Beijing, the biggest feeling is that Beijing is really a place to gather all kinds of talents, everyone likes to come from all directions to the most prosperous places in China to work and study opportunities. In the place met there are too many too good talent, Qing North, Stanford, UCL, Michigan, even if there is no elite graduate background of small partners, in other areas have a strong ability. They all have a strong goal, know what they want to do in the future, and now what to prepare, such as a sophomore to come to Beijing practice brush experience. The second is diet, Beijing after eating things compared with Guangzhou really less too much, the food here is salty, and there is no habit of eating vegetables. In the days of Intel internship in Beijing, the vision widened a lot, saw too many excellent and humble people, also saw their own gap with others, from their conversations can be very clear to see, their horizons is really too low. Graduate students will graduate next year, the family do not read much, the idea is very simple, do not seek large and expensive, hope that the children find some public service institutions of the stability of a stable life is good.
