What is the difference between installing a 64-bit Windows Vista operating system and a 32-bit Windows Vista operating system? How about installation? The following describes four methods.
★One of the methods for installing vista64-bit system on a hard disk
How to install 64-bit VISTA from a hard disk in a 32-bit System
1. Use the virtual optical drive software to extract the boot folder, efi folder, and bootmgr file from the vista64-bit DVD image file to C :.
2. Download to drive C: release ). Copy all the files of the virtual optical drive to the desired place, such as D: VISTA64, and enter the installation stage. Run CMD to enter C: ootsect/nt60 c: Press enter. Restart the computer and go to the installation page. On the first page, select your language (next). Then, do you see the words "Install? Do not worry. Please check that there is a repair computer in the lower left corner of the interface.> SELECT> continue> command> enter the DOS-like interface: Enter the C disk to delete.
Del bootsect.exe
Del bootmg
Del boot
Del efi
Del sources
After the deletion is complete, enter the copy VISTA64-bit installation disk D: VISTA64SOURCES and then the SETUP will be OK.
★Method 2 for full-disk vista64-bit system installation
First use the virtual optical drive to copy the boot folder, efi folder, and bootmgr file in the VISTA64-bit DVD image file to C: download it to the disk in C: release ). Copy all the files of the virtual optical drive to the desired place, such as D: VISTA64, and enter the installation stage. After deleting del bootsect.exe, go to the VISTA64-bit installation disk D: VISTA64SOURCES just now and set SETUP to OK.
★Method 3 for installing 64-bit Vista on a hard disk
1. Install WinPE2.0 New Year's edition first.
2. Use the Daemon virtual Vista64-bit ISO to copy the Sources directory to drive C, covering the boot under the Sources of WinPE2.0 New Year's edition. wim. In this way, the 64-bit WinPE is started.
3. Restart and enter the 64-bit WinPE.
4. Go to the command line prompt "is the doscommand line mode" (it is easy not to take a look at the tutorial ).
(Why do you want to enter here? If you install the software directly, an error message such as "the required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" is displayed ).
5. Key Steps! The current directory is X disk sources, right? Go to the Sources directory of drive C [no? Please read this article after learning some DOS commands ].
The command line prompt is: C: Sources>
6. In fact, each step is an important step. Enter mrt.exe and press enter [C: Sources> mrt.exe ].
7. The most important step is to find a program (like a yurt) in a unknown language. Regardless of the program, check [agree to the Agreement] and start the installation, keep following the next step until the installation is complete.
Run setup.exe to start Vista64-bit installation after installing the latest mrt.exein 8 bytes!
(How do I install mrt.exe first for example? If you run setup.exe without installing mrt.exe, the system prompts "the required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" and cannot be installed)
9. For the rest, enter the serial number and select the version to start installation.
★Method 4 for installing 64-bit Vista (32XP)
The virtual optical drive is in XP, and xp is a 32-bit system. Therefore, the running result is equivalent to upgrading to a 64-bit VISTA under XP. This is absolutely impossible.
Find a DOS version that supports ISO, where I forgot to go to ** find it :) here:
Download three files: LOADISO, Smartdrv, and Vfloppy.
1. Copy the boot CD image (iso file) to the hard disk (any disk except drive C ).
2.run the self-decompressed file vfloppy.exe and select the directory. D: BOOT.
Delete another file under the D: bootdu.zip directory.
4.copy the smartdrv.exe file to D: BOOT.
5. restart the system. When the BIOS detection is complete, press ALT to activate the boot program. After selecting "Start simulation virtual soft drive", the boot menu appears. In the first item, "Start the ISO disc image Installation Wizard ", then select the partition where the ISO file is saved and the ISO file to load the ISO disc image with the drive letter "Z ".
6. Load Smartdrv.exe to accelerate installation. Note that Smartdrv only supports the FAT format!
Friends who use the NTFS format can use tools such as PQ to convert the format. Otherwise, they will not be able to complete the installation for one day!
