This article mainly introduces in detail how to handle access failures in wireless networks. Here we will introduce four main processing methods in detail.

After wireless network access failure occurs, many of my friends feel that they are not ready to start. This article will introduce four methods to deal with such failures. I hope this article will help you solve your network problems.

Wireless Network Access Fault 1: Check the wired network

If a problem occurs in your wireless network, one of the first things to do is to check the wired network connection. You should check the indicator lights to make sure they are connected to the ISP (Internet Service Provider such as China Netcom. If you need to confirm the meaning of a lamp, refer to the relevant manual. Check the network cable connections between the modem, router, and wireless access points and ensure secure connections between them. Loose connections may cause frequent connection interruptions.

Wireless Network Access Fault 2: Turn off first and then enable

When you encounter a wireless connection problem, you can try to disable the Wireless Access Point and then enable it. The same technique applies to wireless NICs. In a laptop with a built-in wireless network card, you can check its documentation, because there is usually a button on the side of the laptop, it allows you to easily close and open the NIC.

On a PC Card or USB wireless network card, start the secure remove hardware utility and click the terminate button. Next, remove the wireless network adapter and re-insert it when Windows is running. In this way, the operating system will re-detect and re-enable the wireless Nic.

Wireless Network Access Fault 3: changing the channel (frequency band)

Conflict is one of the most common causes of wireless connection problems. It should be noted that all 802.11b and 802.11g WLAN operating at a GHz frequency. Most common electronic devices, such as cordless phones, monitoring devices, and microwave ovens, run at 2.4 GHz. Therefore, conflicts between various devices may cause problems.

All Wi-Fi devices can access 11 different frequencies within the GHz frequency range, and the 1, 6, and 11 do not overlap, the remaining eight are overlapping. Therefore, you can change the frequency of wireless access points and wireless network interfaces to solve the conflict. You can try out non-overlapping frequencies first.

Wireless Network Access failure 4: Effective scope and obstacles

Wireless Access Points with wireless NICs in a computer generally have a coverage of about 300 feet, but the range of obstacle or access point errors can be restricted or interrupted. In addition, the antennas on most wireless access points are in the full direction, and wireless signals are broadcast within the 360-degree range. Therefore, try to bring your access point closer to the central location of the area you want to cover.
