Note that the premise of using a domain name mailbox is that you have a domain name that can be managed by yourself, that is, domain name ownership.
First you need to have 163 pass, or 163 free mailbox account, no please apply on the http://mail.163.com.
Open the http://ym.163.com and click Create domain name mailbox.
Step 1: log on to Netease pass
Step 2: Verify the mobile phone number
The verification code is sent to your mobile phone via text message, free of charge.
Step 3: enter your domain name
Step 4: Set the Administrator
Step 5: Verify the ownership of the domain name and set the MX record
Go to your domain name Management Panel and change the MX record to mx.ym.163.com. The priority (priority) is 10.
The following is my MX record. Different domain name providers may have different settings.
This step is very important. decide whether you can use the domain name mailbox.
Tip: MX records are used to locate the email server based on the recipient's address suffix when the email system sends an email. For example, when someone sends an email to the name@example.com, the system will parse the MX record for "example.com". If the MX record exists, the system will sort the MX record based on the priority, forward the email to the email server corresponding to the MX. Therefore, setting MX records helps ensure smooth reception.
Set up and log on to the Management Platform
It is very easy to apply for a domain name mailbox, but the key to ensuring a smooth mailbox sending and receiving mail is the MX record settings. It takes some time and patience for the MX record to take effect.
