Free official OS X mavericks 10.9 Installation Guide

I promise you will have a tutorial. This tutorial describes how to create and install a genuine USB boot installer on Mac. The original tutorial is from tonymacx86.
I just added my understanding and explained this process in my own way. Here we owe all the scores to tonymacx86.
The software used in this tutorial is a combination of unibeast + multibeast.

Before black apple, we need 3 things: 1. An Apple App Store account (or method 2, you do not need an apple account)
2. A USB flash drive of more than 8 GB should not be too bad,

Method 1:

Everything is ready. Let's get started. Go to the MAC system, open the App Store, find OS X Mavericks in top free, and enter your previously registered Apple account to download it.


In Launchpad, you will see that mavericks is being downloaded and the system has 5.33 GB. Please wait.


Method 2:

Some may feel that it is troublesome to download images from the official website. It is convenient to download images from other places. Here, we will teach you how to handle your own images (DMG)
Because I didn't find the images I used on other websites, and I did not find them. I just wrote them in text. If you have any questions, contact me.
First, you need to install your downloaded file into the application, instead of simply dragging it. You need to make the Mac display a hidden file.
(If it is too troublesome, you can also use a third-party plug-in called Tinker tool. The first option is to display all the hidden files. Here we are talking about modifying the terminal command)
Locate terminal in utilities under application.

Enter this Code:

Defaults write com. Apple. Finder appleshowallfiles-Boolean truekillall finder press the Enter key. In this way, your hidden files are displayed on the desktop.

 

At this time, find the DMG file you downloaded, click the meeting, and find many hidden files in it, and find a file named basesystem. right-click DMG Open with, select diskimagemounter to open it, and do not cancel it. Wait for him to finish reading the article (I don't have mavericks here, and I use mountainlion, however, the principle is the same. You can use mountainlion as mavericks)

 

After reading the text, you will see an install OS x Mavericks. Open the application and drag the install OS X mavericks command.

Change terminal back and enter defaults Delete com. Apple. Finder appleshowallfiles.

 

Killall finder press ENTER

The two methods get the apple installation system, and the next step is to start the USB flash drive. Before getting started, I need to prepare two files, which can be found in my previous website. The specific page length is as follows:

After that, we will start to operate our USB flash drive. We will take out the 8 gb usb flash drive we have prepared. Here I will use a 64 GB USB flash drive for demonstration.
Similarly, in the method of finding terminal, locate the disk utility in utilities under the application. As shown in, click on



Find your USB flash drive. Be careful not to read it wrong. It is not fun to delete another disk. Click erase in the format of Mac OS extended (journaled)
Click erase. A dialog box is displayed. Click erase again.



After completing the next step, click partition. The page is like this. You can just name it. I will start USB here.

Select Master Boot Record in option, click OK



Then apply, and a dialog box pops up. Click "partition" to continue. Wait for him to read.

After this step is completed, the USB flash drive is in the correct format. Click unibeast, continue, continue, and agree in the previous steps.
Select the previously formatted USB and click "continue.

He returned a dialog box saying that it would consume 9 MB of computer space to install the program. Click "continue" and enter your Mac password, which means that it is OK to authorize him to install the program.
After that, he will start reading the log. The speed depends on different computer configurations. I waited for 2 minutes and waited for the page to display, indicating that you have successfully prepared a USB flash drive for installation.
