- Noprobe does not automatically look for hardware
- Instead of installing rescue, rescue uses Anaconda to run the rescue Shell for system repair. We will discuss rescue Shell in detail in later chapters
When a bootstrap parameter is given, the first flag of the bootstrap command line must be linux. You can select a tag from the previous list. In addition, if it is an unrecognized identifier of the installer, it will be passed to the Linux kernel as the kernel boot parameter. In the following example, the user selects the correct boot parameters to start the installer in text mode and performs a media check before the installation starts.
