From other platforms to Windows, Ms provides a lot of convenience. What is the opposite?

This race to Linux competition sponsored by codeproject, mainsoft, and IBM gave us some inspiration. There are actually many methods to come out from the Windows platform, which are common:

1-Mono (I don't need to introduce it more)
2-Grasshopper (Visual Studio plug-in that compiles. Net msil into Java bytecode)
3-PHP (a script language running on the server)

Maybe there should be 4-Java, huh, but I personally think that there is no good way for Java to "transplant" existing Windows applications. In addition, wine and others do a good job in this regard, but they are more like virtual environments than real migration.

BTW, the champion of this competition is using PHP and PostgreSQL.
