From the beginner programmer to the CEO's Metamorphosis
Now the General (Diablo) View of programmers is that it's a bunch of "procedural apes" that have been holed up in a dark room all the time, with millions of lines of code, and perhaps not even with interpersonal skills. Well, although I also have a programming background, so it may be a bit biased, but this is obviously nonsense.
PHP programmers are not only unsurpassed in their ability to create the cornerstone of modern life and business, but also participate in a variety of social production activities. Many programmers also run businesses. Yes, the journey from programmer to CEO is not hard, and in some cases it's a big change. But as long as you do this, you will make the best company. Bill Gates, Mark Zukerberg, Marissa Mayer (Yahoo! CEO) and James Dyson (the founder of the Dyson group, the inventor of the bag-free vacuum cleaner) have been a great success as a programmer!
From business development to spreadsheet analysis, naming and problem solving, programmers have many transferable skills that make them ideal CEOs for a company.
A vision for technology
The founders of an enterprise can be technically based. Of course the CEO can also find a co-founder with a technical background: so this is usually not too big a problem. However, when the CEO itself has a technical background, people tend to question them, which I really do not understand.
Not only does the programmer know the future of technology, but it also helps to create the favourable conditions for technological development, and they have a strong urge to advance the technology. If the helm of the enterprise does not have this foresight and strong inner driving force, then not only technology will deviate from its original path, and enterprises will start to stagnate. Are there other people who are better able to push the business forward in this way than CEOs?
Eloquence is better.
One of the most important attributes of being a CEO is the ability that programmers find most difficult to adapt to. If you want to attract talented people to your side, or want talented people, then you need to persuade them, and that means making stories or "talking nonsense".
In addition, this skill is also needed in the development and growth of the enterprise. Then maybe the bank manager, then, if your company is preparing, you have to negotiate with the press, with your "nonsense" ability to kill the quartet. Then, if it comes to the stage of investment, investors, especially angel investors, are essentially investing in you rather than the business, so you have to show them your passion, your ideas and your promises, all of which require good eloquence.
Do not underestimate the role of eloquence. I used to think that all the key to successful investment was your performance. That's half right, as far as I know, a bad eloquence would reduce investment by 20%, and a good one would increase by 20%. Do not think 20% is a small number, if you are dealing with a round of 20 million pounds of financing, there is no good eloquence, will lead to your last raise a very different fund. Programmers can do business.

However, learning to use excel--is easy-the priceless gift of a programmer to be a CEO. At almost every stage, people want to be able to predict the income of a business and want to present data in a form that is easy to understand. Excel is such a good knife.
A good helper to solve a problem
Programmers can be very creative when it comes to product naming and service. They are naming the code all day long, so it is not an issue to name the elements (internal and external) consistently and explicitly for the enterprise. Names can show a company's actual behavior blueprint, so it's vital that no one else can be compared to the programmer behind it with a technical support enterprise.
Finally, programming is mostly about solving problems. Programmers want to be able to challenge complex problems that they have never encountered before. To do this requires a keen mind and a habit of using horizontal thinking to solve problems. This is really no different from the business challenge. CEOs need to think, meditate, discuss and develop ways to solve problems, and having a programming background helps you think in this way.
My journey from programmers to chief programmers to managers to CEOs is daunting. But I did, so there's no reason for other programmers to do it. In fact, I believe they can also, you too.
