Fsck fixes the ext3 file system (which is used for problems such as diewithexitstatus caused by incorrect linux system time and file system information)

In this way, the linux system time is too long. if the time is incorrect, this will lead to information inaccuracy in the ext file system and errors during startup. Press enter for maintenance (or type Control-D to continue): errors such as die with exit status xx are caused by system time.

Example:
Dev/sda1: problem in fsck die with exit status 4
Failed (code 4)
An automatic file system check (fsck) of the root filesystem failed
A maintenance will now be started.
After using Ming system maintenance, press control-D to terminater the maintenance shell and restart the system.
Give root password for maintenance (or type control-D to continue)

The system prompts you to use root for maintenance or ctrl-D restart. the same error message still appears after Ctrl-D restart.

The solution is as follows:

Enter the root password.

Run fsck-y/dev/sda1

This process may be long. Different systems, or you need to wait patiently. After the repair, reboot again
