The full Decommisson operation is concentrated on three platforms,
1 Backup Server
2 VMAX GUI
3 FC Switch
Let's talk about the general idea:
1) The clone relationship between STD and BCV must be aborted on Bankup server first;
2) Delete masking view on the VMX GUI;
3) Remove the IG, PG from the MV under the VMX GUI;
4) Delete The fast policy on the VMX GUI, if assigned;
5) volume under REMOVESG on the VMX GUI; (Unmap, Vlume with FA port, but the data is still in use, and volume is still bound with the pool.) )
6) Remove SG on the VMX GUI;
7) Unbind volume from pool on the VMX GUI; (volume data will be erased and utilization will be reduced to 0%)
8) Re-bind the volume back to pool on the VMX GUI.
The above is the STD disk, for the BCV disk, except one step, all steps are the same:
The BCV disk SG is a large SG, do not delete.
9) Remove STD/BCV device, STD DG on Backupserver;
10) After completing the previous step, the re-ioscan will appear with the new NO-HW path, deleting these paths;
11) INSF-E Rebuilding the device table on Backupserver;
12) Delete the server folder under/var/adm/dev/, delete the device soft link;
13) Delete the backup scripts under DataList and Conf on Backupserver01 02;
14) The DG content of sync/splitjob code under dummy JP folder on Backupserver07;
15) Dummy The backup job code on the Backupserver01;
16) Delete the Zoneset,zone,alias that the server belongs to on the fabric manager;
Zoneset's alias contains two members, one HBA for the server and one for the storage FA.
() active change;
18) down server port on edge Switch's device Manager and replace the zone where port belongs;
switch, Edge switch, core switch, storage
Storage FA port is also used by other servers and cannot be deleted.
