Wireless laptop Internet access is a favorite of many people. Beautiful and fashionable laptops + convenient wireless Internet access functions, I believe many friends can't stand the temptation they bring. So how can we achieve wireless laptop access? Here, I will give you a detailed explanation.
Laptop wireless Internet equipment preparation: Wireless routing + wireless network card
The built-in wireless network card and wireless router are indispensable. Because the network card already comes with it, the selection of the wireless router is discussed here. Figure 1 ). Currently, the specification of wireless routers mainly includes 802.11G, 802.11N, and SuperG standard. There is a big difference between the three in terms of speed and coverage. The daily resolution can be as follows: the standard speed of 802.11 GB is 54 Mb/s, while the current maximum speed of 802.11N is 270 Mb/s, the SuperG speed is 108 Mb/s. Simply put, SuperG is actually equivalent to using two 802.11G channels at the same time, so that the maximum speed can reach 108 Mb/s, and the coverage is also enhanced, however, this requires the mutual cooperation between the network card and the router. Because there is no international standard, the compatibility is not as high as the other two.

Currently, 802.11G wireless NICs and routers are still mainstream, with the best prices and variety, and sufficient speed and coverage. Generally, in the home environment, the house is not very big. Using an 802.11G wireless router can also ensure daily application. If the current version supports 802.11N and requires higher speed and stability, but also a wider coverage, and no financial concerns, you can choose an 802.11N wireless router.
54 Mbit/s refers to the maximum transmission speed of 54Mb, that is, 54 Mbit/s = 6.75 MB/s, 1 BByte) = 8 bbits ). This speed is the ultimate speed. The network adapter and router determine the final speed based on the distance and the degree of signal blocking. Figure 2 ). Although the number of 54Mb is not big, it is enough for the commonly used 2 Mb/s ADSL. I used to drive a wireless router several hundred meters away. Although the connection speed is only 1 Mb/s, it is acceptable to browse the Web page and download small files.
