Funambol Developer ' s Guide connector development examples of problems

Today I study Funambol's connector development, and the examples in the official documentation are problematic.

First, the MAVEN commands provided in the documentation are not available:

MVN archetype:generate-darchetypegroupid=funambol       -darchetypeartifactid=funambol-module-archetype- darchetypeversion=8.0.0       -dgroupid=acme-dartifactid=acmeconnector       -darchetyperepository=http:// M2.funambol.org/repositories/artifacts       -dversion=1.0.0

The specified Maven library could not be found by looking at the prompt,http://m2.funambol.org/repositories/artifacts;

Workaround: Address to:http://m2.funambol.com/repositories/artifacts;

This way, MAVEN works can be created successfully.

The pom file will error when the project is created.

One is the header of the XML file, which is covered directly from another project copy.

Then two MAVEN libraries are also domain name errors. The http://m2.funambol.org are changed into http://m2.funambol.com.

The other plugin has the wrong version:

            <plugin>                <groupId>funambol</groupId>                <artifactid>funambol-plugin</ artifactid>                <version>1.0.8</version>                <extensions>true</extensions>            < /plugin>

Change <version>1.0.8</version> to <version>1.1.0-SNAPSHOT</version>

Finally change packaging's s4j to Jar <packaging>jar</packaging>

Finally compiled through.
