The front panel of the switch has several LEDs to monitor the system's activity and performance. These LEDs are called light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The LEDs on the front panel include:
System LEDs
Remote Power supply LEDs
Port mode LEDs
Port Status Indicator
1: System Indicator
Displays whether the system is plugged in and working properly.
LED Color System State
Shutdown system not powered up
Green system running normally
Amber system power up but not functioning
2: Remote power supply (RPS) LED
The LEDs indicate whether the switch has a remote power supply. The RPS LEDs indicate the RPS state of the switch.
LED Color RPS Status
Close RPS closed or not installed
Persistent green RPS is connected and available
Blinking Green RPS is supporting another switch in the stack (stack)
Persistent Amber RPS connected but not acting properly
Flashing amber switch internal power failure, using RPS: Port LEDs

The port mode LEDs display the current state of the mode button. Various modes are used to determine how the port status LEDs are interpreted. If you want to select or modify the port mode, press the mode button continuously until the mode LEDs indicate the desired pattern. The port status LED can represent a variety of meanings, depending on the current value of the mode LEDs
There are three states of the mode button:
· STAT (State, States)
· UTL (utilization, utilization)
· Fdup (Full-duplex, full duplex)
If the switch's status lamp is blinking orange, it is generally indicated on a certain port. The module or switch has a hardware failure. If the port or module state is not normal, the status light is also blinking orange.
4: Port Status Indicator
Mode LED Port Mode description
STAT Port Status Display Port status this is the default mode
Vtil switch utilization shows the bandwidth used by the current port doubling switch
DUPLX Port Duplex mode is available for full duplex or Half-duplex
SPEED Port Speed Port running speed
To select or change the port mode, use the Press mode button until the desired mode is selected.
Pattern LED Color Description
STAT
Port status shutdown off link free
Continuous green Link normal operation
Flashing green send or receive data
Green/amber alternating link in forwarding state
Persistent Amber Port is currently forwarding
UTIL
Switch utilization green back-sheet utilization ratio between
Maximum Amber Backplane Utilization
Green and amber switches the current bandwidth usage reaches 50% or higher for the total bandwidth as the bandwidth uses the Green drop part the LED turns amber
DUPLX off Half Duplex
Port Duplex Mode Green Full Duplex
SPEED
Port speed shutdown port running in 10mbit/s
Green 100mbit/s
Above this figure main test or stat state! I use the red mark to indicate the current possible test! A friend has met!
Last part
Check the port LEDs during the switch post section
After the power is connected, the switch initiates a series of tests called the Power self-test to detect if the switch is working properly
The system indicator shows whether the post was successful or not. If the switch is already in power, the system LEDs are off, indicating that post is in progress
If the light is green, post success! Congratulations to you!
If the amber description fails the post! Ha ha!
Post is a fatal mistake! Post all failed The switch also works a P Ah!
The port status LEDs also change during post when the switch discovers the network topology and searches the loop, the port status led turns amber and lasts for 30 seconds! If the port status led turns green, a port for the switch has been successfully connected to the target! Target, like a computer!
If the port LEDs are not illuminated the switch determines that the device is not connected to the port!
