Overview:

The SPI (Serial peripheral Interface, Serial Peripheral Interface) is a four-wire serial synchronous bus that Motorola introduces.

  • Full Duplex
  • Master-Slave mode
  • Synchronous communication

Four line:

sdi-receive data, Master sends to slave

sdo-send data, slave sent to master

sck-clock, synchronous clock generated by master

ss-chip selection signal, generated by the master, if only one, can be directly connected to the high level

Working process:

Initially, Master uses the SS signal to enable a slave, then the master number of Beats: moving times, verbs hitting times, Mater and slave starting to beat each other by bit to send data (timing diagram).
