The example of this article is mainly to draw the school emblem of Nankai University. Our idea is to place "Nankai" two words to represent the school's name in the emblem center the text around is an octagonal star-shaped image, the star shape outside a circle, round the periphery has a "Nankai UNIVERSITY" and "Tianjin" and other text, these words are in another ring inside. Let's take a look at the specific steps of the school badge, which are familiar with the use of tools such as shapes, text, and paths in fireworks MX 2004.A . png file is provided at the end of the article for you to download reference. 　　 Drawing Steps (1) Create a new image of size 400x400, we first draw the octagonal. Click the Star tool on the Toolbox to draw a five-corner shape, and set the fill to none, the stroke color is #865da2, the stroke type is the dark Marker in felt tip, and set the stroke size to 8 to get the image shown in Figure 1. Do not worry, in the pentagram we found point 5, that is, the lower left corner of the control point. This point is to control the angle of the Star tool, use the selection tool to select this point, hold down the right mouse button, and rotate drag the mouse, this time we found that the angle of the pentagram began to change. We can release the left mouse button when eight corners appear, as shown in Figure 2. Note: Many features have been added to the fireworks MX 2004, where the control points of these new tools, such as the Star Drawing tool, are a special thing that needs to be learned gradually. Figure 2 Changing the number of angles in the star shape (3) Although the star-shaped programming has eight corners, but we feel that the concave angle is too sharp, need to make the concave angle bigger, at this time we use a similar way, select control angle point of view, press and hold the right mouse button to drag outward to increase the concave angle value, as shown in Figure 3. Figure 3 Adjusting the concave angle (4) Release the mouse, we have been shown in Figure 4, the octagonal interior border, the next step is to add "Nankai" within the image of two text and the text to adjust. Fig. 4 The octagonal inner border of the school badge (5) Now we click on the Text tool on the toolbox to add "Nankai" two text, set the font type for "Wen Ding fan gu", color and internal border color approximation can be, as shown in Figure 5. Figure 5 Adding text (6) Select the Zoom tool on the toolbox to distort and scale the text, adjust the text size and aspect ratio, so that the text can match the border, as shown in Figure 6. Figure 6 Adjusting the text (7) We also want to "South" the word to make a certain adjustment, so that "South" of the word horizontal can be picked up at both ends, but there is no such font. Don't we have a way? In fact, we just have to convert the text to a path. With the text selected, right-click the "Convert to Paths" shortcut menu, we find that the original text becomes a combination of two sets of objects, as shown in Figure 7. Because we only need to change the "South" word, so the combination needs to be canceled. Select the combination above, right click on the pop-up shortcut menu to select "Ungroup" can be ungrouped to get the image shown in Figure 8.
