Because the address book format of Foxmail is different from that of Thunderbird, there are also encoding problems, which may cause garbled characters when the address book of Foxmail is imported into Thunderbird. The solution is as follows:
First use iconv Transcoding
Iconv
-F gb2312-T utf8 foxmail .csv> thunderbird.csv
If an error occurs: Illegal input sequence XXXX ...... That is, not all character codes in the address book are gb2312. Try to use a wider character set gb18030.
Command: iconv-F gb18030-T utf8 foxmail .csv> thunderbird.csv
This operation is successful and no error is reported.
Then use Thunderbird to import the address book. On the selection page, you must note that you must select the Information Format of your address book. Otherwise, the address book cannot be matched, and the name may contain an email address.
Select the options you need, such as display name and email, and use the move up and move down options on the right to correspond to the right. Remember to correspond to the right or fill in the phone number in the name.
