Generate the key file sn.exe (Strong Name toolkit, sn.exe strong

Visual Studio has a built-in Strong Name Tool. You can directly run the "VS developer command prompt" to generate a key file.

The key file contains the public key and private key.

 

Let's look at this example:

Create a new key file in the folder D: \ friend assembly \ friend signed. You can set the location where the key file is generated.

1. Run the "VS developer command prompt" command line

 

2. Enter the command line sn-k FriendAssemblies. snk (. snk is the key file format)

 

3. Separate the public key from the key file sn-p FriendAssemblies. snk FriendAssemblies. publickey

 

At this time, we can see that there are two more files in the folder.

 

 

 

4. display the Public Key sn-tp FriendAssemblies. publickey
