Three different versions, the interface does not look very different, the left side is the toolbar, the right is the work panel, the top is the menu bar. Even the order of the tools, the default order of the face plate is the same. At this point, Adobe's user experience is doing just fine, no matter whether it's a new user or an old user. And some tools that are now almost impossible to use are also retained in the latest version of Photoshop, allowing older users to adapt to the new version quickly. So beginners in the choice of version without worrying about different versions of the corresponding features, basic skills can be enough for beginners to explore.

Basic concepts of each setting:
pixel: is the most basic unit that makes up the image, it is a small square color block.
Resolution: The number of pixels within the unit area. The higher the resolution, the more pixels, and the greater the amount of information in the image. The unit is PPI (Pixels per inch), such as 300PPI indicates that the image contains 300x300 pixels per square inch.
Image resolution and image size values determine the size and output quality of the file, the higher the resolution, the clearer the image, the resulting file is larger. Image resolution becomes synonymous between image quality and file size;
If the image is for printing, its resolution must be greater than or equal to: 120 pixels/cm, the conversion is about: 300 pixels per inch.
Color mode: a color model for displaying and printing images. Commonly used are RGB, CMYK, LAB, grayscale and so on.
RGB mode: composed of red, green and blue 3 kinds of primary colors, the 3 kinds of primary colors mixed produce thousands of colors.
CMYK mode is a printing mode. It is made up of 4 colors of color separations, which are essentially no different from the RGB model. In the process of image processing, we generally do not use CMYK mode, because this mode file size, will occupy more disk space and memory. In addition, many filters are not available in this mode, so there is a lot of inconvenience when editing an image, so it is usually converted to this mode during printing.
