In SharePoint 2013, Microsoft provides a way to convert master pages based on HTML pages and supports single synchronization, but such updates are not perfect and can cause some loss of functionality, so it's convenient for people who know the master structure to try to modify master directly.
Of course, if you need to use a master page, you must turn on the SharePoint 2013 Publishing feature, which is to go to the site collection features and site features to open the feature that activates the publication.
1, activate the publishing function

Of course, you can choose another master page, the naming of two master pages is interesting, a Seattle, a Oslo (Norwegian capital);
