Getting Started with Word Animation Tutorial 39: Enriching Input word libraries

Tip: Friends who do not like or are not accustomed to using Microsoft Pinyin Input Method can skip this section.

In Word, we can add some professional terms or obscure words to the Microsoft Pinyin Input Method 2003 in the custom dictionary, in the future, they will appear in the candidate window of the forefront (generally the most front), eliminating the choice of the word page, the input speed is naturally greatly improved.

Steps:

1. In Word, select the phrase you want to add to your own dictionary of words.

2. Perform "edit" → "Update input dictionary", visible in the "update Microsoft Pinyin Input Dictionary" dialog box, the word has automatically appeared in the custom edit box, and automatically labeled Pinyin. Of course, you can also open this dialog box to enter your favorite words.

3. Click the "Register" button to add the word to the user-created dictionary.

Attention:

1. A word cannot be registered as a self coined.

2. You can register a phrase of up to 255 characters, if the word or phrase is too long (greater than 9) or contains English, punctuation, symbols, extended Chinese characters, etc. without corresponding pinyin, you must specify the shortcut key for the entry. But phrases cannot contain spaces, tabs, and other control characters, or they cannot be registered. In the use of Microsoft Pinyin Input method in the Chinese state, with a heavy accent "'" guide, and then type the shortcut key letters, and then press the space bar can be converted to the set words.

3. In the "update the Microsoft Pinyin Input Dictionary" dialog box, click the lower left corner of the "Advanced" button, open the "Microsoft Pinyin Input Method self-coined Word tool" window, you can view or modify the existing word, can also be imported from a batch of the word. In addition, there is a "self-learning entry" tab in the window, which is automatically learned by the input method, and cannot be added, imported or edited, but can be deleted, transferred, or exported.

4. You can define your own words online, that is, in the process of using input method to define your own words, you are interested to see the Microsoft Input Method 2003 related help.

6. Open the Microsoft Pinyin Input method of the "Input Options" dialog box, switch to the "Language Features" tab, to ensure that the "user features" under the "Custom" checkbox is selected, so as to normal use of the registered custom-made words.
