A theme is a set of design elements and color schemes that you preset in Word to quickly change the background, body, and heading styles of your document, as well as to change the appearance of lists, horizontal lines, hyperlink colors, and table border colors to quickly create beautifully crafted documents. Here is a introduction to the use of the method.
1. Perform "format" → "theme" To open the Theme dialog box.
2. In the Select a topic list, click to select the topic you want.
3. Check or cancel the "background image" selection under the list, depending on the need. After you select the other two options "vivid colors" and "active graphics," you need to save the document as a Web page and then see the effect in your Web browser.
4. Preview the effect, if satisfied, click the "OK" button to apply the theme to the document.
Tips:
1. In the Theme dialog box, click the Set Defaults button, and the new document will automatically apply this topic, but it will not be applied to a document that already exists. To cancel the default theme settings, select (no subject) in the Theme dialog box, and then click the Set Defaults button.
2. To change the subject of a document, you can select a theme in the theme dialog box.
3. Themes are not displayed in outline view and normal view.
4. Themes can also be applied to e-mail or Web pages.
