If you want to enter some special number or ordinal numbers in your document, such as Roman numerals, circled Arabic numerals, and so on, you can use the method of inserting numbers as follows:
1. Place the insertion point where you want to insert the number.
2. Execute insert → number to open the Number dialog box.
3. Enter the numeric number you want in the number box.
4. Select a type of number to use. Note: Some types have a range of allowed digits, and a hint appears when the bounds are exceeded.
5. Click the OK button to insert the number into the document and close the dialog box.
Tips:
1. Use the above method to insert a number as a field result, if you want to change the form of a number, select the field, then perform insert → number, and then select a number format in the Number dialog box, and then click OK to change it.
2. Select the Arabic numerals that you enter directly in the document, and you can change it to another format using the above methods, changing the number to a field result (be aware of the range allowed by the number type). Other forms of numbers cannot use this method to change their display form.
