Source: Internet
Author: User

In a Word document, you can drag a portion of a document onto your desktop or other folder to create a file called fragmentation. It can also be used to copy and move the contents of the document.

I. Production of fragmented documents

Method One: Select text or other objects, and drag the left arrow to the desktop (or other folder) to create a "fragment" and the contents of the document still exist. If you hold down SHIFT and drag, the selection in the document disappears, and a "fragment" is created in the desktop or other folder.

Method Two: You can also cancel this action by dragging it to the desktop or other file Plus, releasing the right button, and choosing from the shortcut menu: Create a document fragment in the current location, move the document fragment to the current location, and create a document shortcut in the current location.

Method Three: Copy or cut the contents of a Word document, and then perform "paste" on the desktop or folder.

Attention:

1. "Create a document shortcut at the current location" must be available only if the original Word document is open.

2. A fragmented file created by default can be opened by word.

3. In addition to text, you can create fragmented files for objects such as pictures, tables, AutoShapes, and so on, but when you create fragments of individual objects, such as pictures, AutoShapes, you must ensure that they surround themselves with an "inline" pattern. You can also make a combination of Word objects into fragmented files, and pictures and other objects are not surrounded by restrictions.

Ii. use of fragmented documents

Use the left mouse button to drag the fragmented file to the target location of the Word document, or you can drag it with the right mouse button and choose Move to this location or copy to this location, and the result is the same.
