In a Word document, you can use the Paste as Hyperlink command to create a hyperlink, as follows:
1. In the document, select the text as a hyperlink, perform a copy operation.
2. Place the insertion point at the location where the hyperlink is placed.
3. Perform "edit" → "Paste as HYPERLINK". The copied object is pasted as a hyperlink to the cursor, and the text created by the hyperlink becomes a colored, underlined text.
There is another way: press the right mouse button to drag the selected target to the location you want to link to, release the right button, and select "Create Hyperlink Here" from the shortcut menu.
After you create a hyperlink, users can jump to the source text of the hyperlink. To jump, you can hold down the CTRL key (when you point to the pasted object with the mouse pointer to a hand), click the link text to jump to the linked source text. You can also right-click on a hyperlink, select Open Hyperlink, or you can implement a jump, which, unlike the former, will also select the target text.
Attention:
1. You can also paste the contents of other Office documents as hyperlinks (you must ensure that the copied text is in a saved file and that the source document is open during the paste process.) , right-click on the hyperlink, select Open Hyperlink on the shortcut menu, a dialog box that prompts for security, and click OK to open the source document and navigate to the source content.
2. In a saved document, you can also paste a picture object as a hyperlink. You cannot paste a hyperlink directly to an AutoShape, but you can create it by dragging it in a way that must be wrapped in an inline style.
