The management of styles includes copying, deleting, and renaming styles.

One, copy style

1. Execute tools → templates and add-ins, open the templates and Add-Ins dialog box, click the Organizer button in the lower-left corner, and open the Organizer dialog box.

2. In the Styles tab, the left and right two lists list the styles used in two different documents or templates, and by default, the left side shows the style of the currently open document, with several styles in the Normal template on the right-hand side.

3. Select the style you want to copy in the list of styles on the left or right. Click the Copy button to copy the style to the list on the opposite side, if there is no style to copy in the current document, or if the destination you copied to is not the Normal template, click the Close button to close the document or template, and then click the Open button , locate the appropriate document or template.

Tip: You can press the SHIFT key or CTRL key in the list, and then click to select multiple consecutive or discontinuous styles to copy simultaneously.

4. Click the Close button. If the document you copied to is the one you clicked to select the displayed document, clicking the Close File button or the Close button will show you the prompt to save the document, click Yes to save the style to this document, and if the Normal template is not prompted. The same is true in the following delete and rename style operations.

Two, delete the style

In the Organizer window, select the style you want to delete, click the Delete button, and then click Yes or all of the buttons in the prompt dialog box that appears.

Attention:

1. When you delete a paragraph style, the corresponding paragraph applies the Normal style.

2. If you select a built-in style, you will be prompted that the style cannot be deleted.

Third, rename style

In the Organizer window, select the style you want to rename, click the Rename button, open the Rename dialog box, enter a new name in the new Name box, and click OK.

Note: When you change the name of a built-in style, it retains its original name and the new name is appended to it.

In addition, you can delete and rename styles in the Styles and Formatting task pane. Click the Drop-down button after a style, or right-click on it, with the Modify and delete commands in the menu, you can rename and delete styles, and the animation is no longer demonstrated.
